I really admire Rosa Parks. I am a 12 year old girl from a white family with a black fosterchild in our home. I know this is not easy for my mother.

Rosa Parks knew the way she was being treated and on this day she was so tired she didn't want to put up with it. I know that when you don't want to put up with something, and you have the personality that Rosa Parks had you don't put up with something.

Rosa did what she knew was right although it was not exactly the easiest way. She taught me that the right way isn't always a straight path but it does lead you to the right place. How I wish that she could know how much she means to me.
