Dorothy Dandridge has been a great inspiration in my life. I now want to dance and sing and act all at once and try to at least do half as good a job as she did. Her beauty amazes me to no end. I am a gymnast and my floor routine music is from Carmen.
I really hate that she had to deal with all the racism and hate that went around her, but I do admire her strength to stand up to it and make a way for the African American's following her to have it easier. I also wish she wouldn't have had to die like she did whether it be accident or suicide she didn't have to die alone, for she seemed to be a sweet woman with enduring love for all.
