I have studied Dottie for more than a month and her life is just so tragic and uplifting. I have read Donald Bogle's book, her book, I have seen "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge", read one of the Ebony articles on her and I have read the Essence article on her. I feel like I know how she always felt. I feel like I have known her forever.
