Unfortunately I, and possibly others of my age group (30), don't know much about Ms. Dandrige and her contribution to "Hollywood". I can honestly tell you that if it wasn't for the publicity generated over who would portray Ms. Dandridge on the movie screen the sad posssibility existed that she may have never been known by a large majority of people (particularly blacks).

But I believe Halle Berry, the lucky woman who has been cast in the starring role, will give audiences a superb performce to remember of Ms. Dandridge's life.
