I never really LISTENED to Lady until I was in High School. My music teacher, impressed by my own singing, suggested that I give Lady a try. I took the album home and needless to say, no homework got done that night.

I couldn't beleive how HONEST she sounded. I was floored. I knew right there and then, that it was practically sinful to sing about something you haven't lived through. That the HONESTY matters more than range, technique or even talent. I never sang the same since.
