I am a 29 years old that just got into Dottie within the last two years. Don't get me wrong I knew of her but I didn't know as much as I thought I did. I knew about Marilyn Monroe, betty Davis and Joan Crawford and all the other non-colored people.

But thanks to Earl Mills and Donald Bogle and a little of my own reseach I found someone that I look like. You see like everything else I thought we were all housekeepers not glamor girls like th others. But now I see the history of my people and they were not all answering doors for Betty Davis, Joan Crawford. Lena Horne, Josephine Baker, and Dorothy Dandridge were above the rest.
