I feel such a deep respect for Malcolm X as well as many other black leaders. Though I am white myself, I have African American roots. Malcolm has inspired me in so many ways its impossible to fully express. He was a great man who will live on forever in my eyes.

I try to teach my white friends the importance of learning about all cultures because this is all OUR history. Some may find it weird that I read Ebony magazine or watch BET all the time, but i feel my closeness there and i feel fully accepted.
