May we all look back upon the bombing of the 16th St. Baptist Church and realize the truth of the human struggle. Rights are a God granted gift, and not a privledge bestowed dependent upon class, race, age, or political standing.
The loss of these four sheros can nurture our passion in the struggle for justice and peace. Let their lives remind us of the preciousness of life, and the savageness of hatred. We must remember their legacies as inspiration for passive resistence to evil.
Remember their lives, and celebrate the beauty which life indeed is. These four little girls, as well as too many others, must become carriers of light on the path to a gentler humanity. We must embrace one another in love, and continue to fight the battle.
