What a memory! We were in 2nd Grade with Mrs Wessling, Mona Thompson was crying and crying, and we were all nervous about getting this strange medicine so..what was wrong with Mona?

We all tried to be nice to her, we asked her what was wrong? What we did not know was that Mona was crying because her parents were religiously AGAINST her getting the medicine and as a result, Mona was crying because she was afarid she would now get Polio for sure...a memory I have of 2nd Grade!
