After a thorough research of this lady I came to a conclusion that it doesn't matter how beautiful, how rich, or how kind hearted you are...if you get stuck with the wrong crowd you're in it for a long hard ride. It seemed to me that most of the men in her life were loosers with a capital L. The so call support and love these men gave her are another thousand reasons why I thank the lord everyday I'm single and very happy.

She gave the audience her heart and soul every time she performed. She exuded genuine grace and talent that left you breathless. Although her choice of men were least to be desired she had enough courage and dignity to rise from those choices. She gave everyone she reached her all but received very little from those she gave, how sad.

She will be immortalized for years to come which in retrospect, a poetic justice. Her star status will always be intact...can we say the same about the men in her life? Neither one of them will ever be immortalized as Dorothy Dandridge, a lady, a star.
