I am an 8th grader and am spending a lot of time studying the diseases polio and AIDS. I really want to see these viruses wiped out for good.

Jonas Salk's confidence and determination has kept me going when I wanted to quit. I want to have a career like his. I will always remember him and he will always be my role model. Thank you Dr. Jonas Salk!
