Che guevara joined Fidel Castro in his successful attempt to overthrow the Batista dictatorship in Cuba. Che was a man of the people, who saw that the majority of Cuba was poor, and wanted to help. He was a military genius specializing in guerilla warfare. He is looked at as a martyr, a hero, a genius, and a savior.
