I recently viewed the Halle Berry Film "Introducing Dorothy Dandrige" and I was so mesmerized by the extraordinary talents of Ms. Dandrige. I first saw her in the motion picture "Carmen Jones" and I have never seen a woman grace the screen with such stamina and class, despite the nature of her character.

Since my initial viewing of "Carmen Jones" I have wanted to see someone portray this gorgeous actress to find out more about her life and tragic death. So you could imagine my anticipation to see "Intro/Dorothy Dandrige". After viewing Halle Berry's adaptation of Ms. Dandrige I felt that Ms. Dandrige would be the perfect role model for women in entertainment today.

A lot of the class and style that Ms. Dandrige displayed has been lost since the days of this inspirational woman. She is truly a wonderful actress and role model for anyone who aspires to go as far as they can to achieve their dreams. Thank you Dorothy Dandrige for allowing us to enjoy your many talents.
