Hollywood Should be ashamed of itself! I am only 22 years old so I basically grew up not Knowing who this Beautiful, vivacious screen goddess was. When Halle Berry Starred as Her in "Introducing Dorothy Dandridge" I was awestruck(by ms. Berry's Beauty). I immediatley rented Carmen Jones. Not a fan of musicals myself, I was immediatley Taken with this beautiful sensuous WOMAN! She oozed Sex Like sweat...Without even Trying!

When I think about the movie Carmen Jones, I think about what might have been for her without sadness. All because of the shallow minded hatred and biIgotry of Dorothy(and blacks in general) simply for the color she was.

A shining star faded much to quickly. She had more talent than any single one of those white Hollywood starlets who only had looks going for them. Dorothy had the looks charisma and the sexualit, but because of the ignorance of the masses Dorothy could not fully realize her potential.

Hollywood has come along since then for talented black actors but to think all because of shallow minded ignorance and hatred of a persons color, This gem was not allowed to shine. I say again "SHAME ON YOU HOLLYWOOD!" You lost a good thing, don't let it happen again!
