In 1975 I discovered her(Dorothy Dandridge) in Ebony...a full page photo of her. Who is she? I've never heard of her. Her beauty, her story, her denied stardom intrigued me, angered me and endeared me to this face. I then loved her.

Wishing to transcend time and save her from the bad marriage and the pills. I'm reading her autobiography now (despite despising the author, Bogle) and I still can't get enough.

The resemblance is uncanny and I think the skills are identical...Janet Jackson must bring Dorothy's story to the public.
