One day a lady name Rosa Parks was on the bus and she was tired. She had just gotten off from work. Her feet were hurting and she had to ride the bus home. Back then the law was if the bus got crowded then all black people had to give up there seat to white people.

Rosa had to pay to get on the bus just like the white people. This particular day she decided she was not going to get up. The white bus driver told all blacks to get up but Rosa didn't. I dont blame her. It would be different if blacks got to ride the bus for free or for a reduced price, but Rosa paid the same amount to ride the bus as the white man.

Rosa just sat there and for that she was arrested. I really admire Rosa because she paved the way for many blacks. Rosa did something no other black person had the nerve to do, she refused to give up, not only her seat but her rights to equality. I am inspired. I ain't gettin up either.
