Before I was born, my Godmother Minnie Frazier, from Orangeburg, South Carolina, gave me a set of crystal carving set holders that belonged to Ms. Kitt's white father. Miss Minnie, as I called her, knew Ms. Kitt's father and they were a gift to her and then she left them to me.
